December has been a whirl.  And so it is Christmas.

Today the sugar cookies are going to get decorated (once I finally quite wasting time online, but hey, I haven't done this for a while now and it's been fun!) and my cookie baskets made up and delivered.  And then the house cleaned this weekend and the last few presents wrapped.  And then Monday the fun begins.  We spend Christmas Eve with my husband's family at his mother's, and that's always fun.  Christmas Day will be a little more laid-back, schedule is still up in the air because of Younger Son's having to split time between us and Girlfriend's family.  Sometime in the afternoon/evening, Hubby and I are going to pack it up and take off for the coast for a week.  Older Son and his wife and the Grandbaby will come over for New Year's Eve with us.  Younger Son and Girlfriend up in the air because of her work schedule.  Maybe they will, maybe they won't.

One submission is made, and another will be made before the end of the month.  I hope to get some writing done at the coast, and get a LOT of relaxing done.  I've been so dang-nabbit tired at night I've been worthless to do anything other than go to sleep early.  I haven't read a book in I don't-know-how-long, and I miss that so much.  And the books are a-pilin' up too.  Because, of course, it hasn't stopped me from BUYING!  ;-)  That will be my New Year's resolution.  To find time for more reading.  Trash-tv-watching will have to go.

So let me take this opportunity to wish you all a *VERY* Merry Christmas, and my best wishes to you and yours for a wonderful, blessed, Happy New Year full of good news and tons of acceptance letters!

Merry, Merry!  Happy, Happy!  And with love to all,
I wish you good night.  :-)

See you in 2008.
