Christmas lights linkage

It's a YouTube video and I don't have a clue how to paste in into my blog, nor the inclination at the moment to figure it out, so I'll just direct you to her blog. I was mightily impressed. I almost stood up in my living room for a standing ovation at the end. So, without further ado, and in Mary's words:

I trusted her. She was right.
I am blah. I have so many things I need to do. So many varieties of cookies to start baking and the bathrooms and kitchen to clean, but I can't bring myself to do it. Not tonight. Maybe it's just tiredness from a busy Sat. and a daylong tamale making session yesterday. But we have 6 dozen Chile & Cheese and 4 dozen Chile Verde tamales to show for it. Now for a 15 minute writing session (all I've been able to make myself do each day, all month so far) and then early to bed with a book.
Move along now with your busy Christmasy things.
