Veteran's Day thank you

Thank you to all the veterans, both in the past and in the present day, who have loved this country and their fellow citizens enough to risk their lives, perhaps even give the greatest sacrifice of all, in its defense. We do not forget.
My father was a veteran of WWII. He served in the Navy as a signalmen in the Phillippines and also in Italy. He didn't speak of the horrors he saw. My brother is a veteran of Vietnam. That wasn't a fun time for our family, the constant fear for his life. Nor was it a fun time for him, the shock of warfare.
My utmost respect and gratitude to those who serve.
