Ah, life is good.

M-i-L is progressing nicely with her leg.  It's healing up now although she has had to stay in the hospital longer than she wanted, she did get scared this time, and so she is not groaning and moaning over the stay, which makes it easier for everyone else to deal with. 

We are at the coast this week.  Went to see Warhorse today.  We wanted to see Girl with Dragon Tattoo, but the website I checked for times was wrong and it wasn't starting for another hour, and we'd already been there shopping and running errands for 2 hours already, so we didn't want to wait around for another hour.  I liked Warhorse.  Hubby thought it was a bit cheesy, especially in the beginning, but I guess I just like cheese. 

I'm so excited because we have a different tv provider over here and I'd taken advantage of a free 3 month promo of HBO last month.  And guess what?  They're re-broadcasting Game of Thrones this week.  It's like such a double lucky break that I got the promo and that we just happened to be here this week.  I watched 2 episodes last night and the next 2 are on in just a few minutes.  So far, very in tune with the books.  Except goodness, I don't think I've seen so many bare-breasted women in one hour before.  I thought maybe some of it was "made up" to grab the viewing public, but I'm also re-reading the series, and I see most of it is in the book (I'm thinking specifically of Danery's brother caressing her boob, although in the book, he pinched the crap out of her nipple.  Not my favorite part of the books, I'll add. 

Anyhow, all's good.  Return to your normal duties now.
