So it appears that I really am going to have another story published.  I'm not announcing it yet because I haven't received a contract yet, and I don't want to jinx it.  It's not a pro market, but one of the higher-level semipro's, so I'm really excited.  Looks to be about six months away from publication though.  So, it's still considered an almost-yay.

Ah, it feels good to be home.  Disneyland was fun, but more crowded than we're used to.  Silly us didn't realize that spring break happens in March even if Easter isn't until late April.  But the grandson got to ride everything he wanted.  Grandpa was a little grumpy that he couldn't ride his rides (lines were too long), but we were just there in Nov., so it was fine.

Am tired now, and I need to get busy and get two stories edited.  And there's several more in the queue after that.  Plus I want to flash tomorrow morning.  And oh yeah, that silly novel I'm critting.  ::grins at Mike::

Oh man, I love this list.  I found it through my flist, although unfortunately I forgot who.  If you're an introvert like I, and have been led to believe your whole life that there's something "wrong" with you because you love your solitude, then please read this post:

My favorite is #2:
2. We are not anti-social.
Quite the contrary! We have many close, dear friends, but we also recognize that being with people just for its own sake does nothing for us and, in fact, drains our batteries right quick. We love to connect with people, but not just mingle with hordes of people for its own sake.
