Happy Grandsons' Birthdays
Mar. 21st, 2011 10:30 amMy grandbigboy turned 4 yesterday. He's still cute as a button, but starting to lose that toddler-baby look and turn into a real boy! The grandbaby turns 1 on Thursday, and we'll be in Disneyland!!! Please do a No Rain raindance for us. After an especially wet beginning to winter, we turned dry again and now it looks as though we're going to float out of winter into spring. Goodness we got a lot of rain yesterday. I really hope it tapers off by Thurs and Fri but the forecast isn't making me feel very optimistic.
I kept waking up last night in the midst of bad dreams where people were chasing me. I was terrified when I woke up and I truly don't know how I managed to get back to sleep both times. In the second one, I was trying to escape from some sort of cult compound. Some halfway sympathetic people turned their heads to let me escape, but I had to cross these sand dunes but my legs were trapped in the sand, so it was more like I was swimming -- or trying to -- through sand but there was a siren/mermaid who had hold of my legs and they were trapped in her skirts -- except when I finally kicked myself free and kicked her to the surface (she was sand-swimming, too), all there was of her was a head and neck. It was freaky. After that I was scared to go back to sleep but managed to somehow and slept through the rest of the night. Whooo.
So I leave you with a pic of the grandbaby. He's so cute, he's crawling around playing with toys. He's such a good little guy, his older brother never would play with toys like this.
