Yes, it's Me.
Mar. 15th, 2011 02:22 pmI was in a Mood yesterday. No reason. Just one of those days where you and everyone around you is better off if you just crawl under a blanket in a dark room and keep your mouth closed. I had the grandbaby, but that was all good, he's adorable and almost always a happy guy. But by the time he left I wasn't feeling all that great and I was tired and ended up in bed at 9 pm trying to watch The Event, but I kept nodding off. The bad thing was I had to do my LH flash critting, and I apologize to anyone whom I gave a less than helpful crit to (which was, pretty much, anyone I critted). I just couldn't put two words together.
The grandbaby has given up his morning nap, but the good news is that he now takes a really long nap. I've been able to keep him up long enough to get the grandbigboy down at the same time (well, more or less), and still have about an hour or so to myself. So yay. The baby did wake up crying just a bit ago, but I went in and laid him back down and patted his back and he went back to sleep!!!! Good gracious! He's so much easier than the older boy. He actually *likes* toys and is fascinated with pushing buttons right now, turning things on and off. Today he learned to walk in his walker, and not by accident. He turns 1 next week but isn't walking yet. What's up with that? Both my boys were walking by 10 months! But they were also in walkers by 7 or 8 months, and not these silly ones now that don't hardly scoot because they're so paranoid the walker might tip over (my oldest tipped his walker over a couple of times and wasn't hurt). Anywho.
In the Gross-You-Out-Category -- my cat was leaving flea dandruff around so I finally put some Advantage on him. I think it almost killed him, poor old thing, he turned in circles for two days (not sure if the stuff was burning his neck or if it made him dizzy) and now we keep finding fleas crawling on us (dying fleas, they don't even hop). It's pretty gross. Especially when I find them on the baby. I mean, I knew the cat had fleas, but I guess I didn't realize how many he had. Gross.
