I know my word count per day doesn't hold a candle to some of you.  My words per month probably equal a week for a lot of you.  But it's all I can manage at the moment.  I'm still holding out for a 500 word per day average.  Would love to do a 1k per day average, but that's novel length writing.  Short stories take too much revising, etc, or mine do anyway to equal any kind of wordage.  After the first draft I end up taking out a whole lot more than I put in.

My long-term story on hold, well it looks like Baen's is moving along on the slushpile.  I've heard of two other replies the last couple of days.  One an acceptance, the other a rejection.  Both were almost the exact length of time mine's been there.  I'm really nervous now.
