Jan. 30th, 2009 11:14 amI seem to be getting over the RoF news quicker than I thought I would. My mind has already moved on when I thought I would rail and storm for weeks. We humans really are adaptable, aren't we? With built-in mechanisms that help us survive.
I thought I had some pithy thoughts on this but apparently I don't. My mind has gone blank.
I did something to my lower back yesterday. Probably picked up the grandtoddler wrong, because it was fine when I got up and around 9 am, I was in pain. I expect to have a rough couple of days and then it'll get better. Trying to keep it loose with heat and I'm going to try some yoga in a bit. I have a headache too.
Things progress on the writing/subbing front. Well, more on the subbing than the writing. I'm still writing daily, but only the bare minimum 100 words. But I've done a lot of subbing the last few days. I did 5 subs in the last 2 days. One is back in the house already, getting ready to get cut off a little and then out with it again. I intend to catch up on some reading today. I've downloaded the new stories from Beneath Ceaseless Skies, and the latest issue of Interzone (or maybe it's the one before). I also want to crit a couple of stories from critters. But my mind keeps calling for me to just play games. I'm resisting. So far.
