(no subject)

I've been  busy busy busy.  But the Christmas shopping is done and almost all of the presents are wrapped.  The house is clean and the party is tonight.  We go to the coast for the weekend, and then next week I have to commence the cookie baking.  My great-niece and -nephew want to come over again this year and "help" decorate the sugar cookies.  I don't know how that's going to work with the grandbaby around, but work out it must. 

I have no writing news as I've been too swamped to even think of it.  I'm so looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend with nothing to do, but I hope I don't go overboard and just gel out.  I have a story or two that need final edits before sending them out into the big wide world. 

I think this is the calmest I've ever felt in the last week or so before Christmas.  I'm not even stressing about the party tonight.  Well, see... here I sit posting here instead of being up and cooking and cutting and slicing and dicing.  What will be, will be.
