Catching up
Aug. 27th, 2007 09:38 amI think I've had an epiphany. I'm always saying that next week I'll catch up with everything I didn't get done this week because this "special" event happened. Next week won't be nearly as busy. I'll catch up next week.
People. There is no such thing as catching up.
There. Big breath. Don't you feel better now that you know the act of *trying* to catch up is futile? Give in to it. There will always be something in this crazy busy world to throw you off schedule. Life is complicated and everyone rushes around at 150+ miles per hour. Every once in a while we can step back and take a breather ... but when we do, WE'RE GETTING FARTHER BEHIND.
Oh well. Life is. I have no other words for it. It is what it is and you must find joy in it. Laugh at the busyness and insane pace at which we try to cram too many things into each day. Love, Laugh, love and laugh some more. Life ends too quickly to mourn and moan and complain.
My aunt is dying.
