All's well!

Whew!  After conflicting reports from the doctor (imagine that!), it turns out all is well with my grandbaby after all and he's going home this evening -- as long as one last test result comes back clear.  I'm too relieved to be frustrated, but now the doctor says that there wasn't any infection to begin with.  Well.  I'm glad they over-reacted rather than under-reacted, especially since there's been a rash of meningitis cases going around in our area.  My poor daughter-in-law was at her wits end this morning after a restless night.  They'll be soooooo glad to get back home and start being a family again.

Thanks all for your good wishes and thoughts.  I think they helped, because at first everything was pointing towards an infection, and now -- poof! -- it's gone.

Hopefully I'll be back to writing by Thurs.  Tomorrow I have a board meeting and then will most likely go sit with the baby while my daughter-in-law rests in the afternoon.  And then there's Easter coming up -- 16 people or so at my house -- and I haven't got the house back in order since the painters have been here.  

It's always something trying to throw us off our rhythym, eh?
