My November Report Card

musingaloudThanksgiving - SUCCESS! Yummy food. Wonderful company, mostly. I made my mother stay longer than she wanted, but I didn't want to take her home until the grandkiddies left, and they hung around a bit, but she survived it, although my couch almost didn't, since she spilled a whole bunch of coffee on it. Pie was excellent, if I do say so myself, as was the real whipped cream on top. *swoon*
Writing - FAIL! I will count Thanksgiving and the grandkids (not that I fault them, it's just I cannot write on Mon. and Tues. when I have them, and we won't mention what I did in the evenings, which was be lazy, but I will from heretofor call as recuperation) as the reason, although it was for last week, but from Friday the 25th on, I have no excuse other than recuperation, of which, apparently, I needed a lot of. Yes, yes, I know, I just ended a sentence with a preposition, but believe me, that's the least of my worries at the moment.

jaylake's post HERE on perseverance and putting in the hard work to get where he is as a writer, consider me suitably chastized and chagrined enough to vow to edit, revise, or write tonight. And now excuse me, for I have about 10 years worth of writing to squeeze in.
