My November Report Card

Thanksgiving - SUCCESS! Yummy food. Wonderful company, mostly. I made my mother stay longer than she wanted, but I didn't want to take her home until the grandkiddies left, and they hung around a bit, but she survived it, although my couch almost didn't, since she spilled a whole bunch of coffee on it. Pie was excellent, if I do say so myself, as was the real whipped cream on top. *swoon*
Writing - FAIL! I will count Thanksgiving and the grandkids (not that I fault them, it's just I cannot write on Mon. and Tues. when I have them, and we won't mention what I did in the evenings, which was be lazy, but I will from heretofor call as recuperation) as the reason, although it was for last week, but from Friday the 25th on, I have no excuse other than recuperation, of which, apparently, I needed a lot of. Yes, yes, I know, I just ended a sentence with a preposition, but believe me, that's the least of my worries at the moment.
But on the excellent advice of
jaylake's post HERE on perseverance and putting in the hard work to get where he is as a writer, consider me suitably chastized and chagrined enough to vow to edit, revise, or write tonight. And now excuse me, for I have about 10 years worth of writing to squeeze in.
