What a busy Flist!

musingaloudFlist, what's up? I was all caught up, and then I *think* maybe I missed reading yesterday. But I may have. I know I didn't read today until a couple of hours ago, though, and whoa Momma! I had 3+ pages to read through. Everyone got busy.
Speaking of busy, that's what I've been. I've been getting myself out of the rut I was in by moving and doing more. Woke up this morning and cleaned the shower (SCRUBBED GROUT! BREATHED NASTY FUMES!) before my walk. Walked with my buddy. Came home meaning to work in the yard 30 minutes or so, and two and a half hours later, my back is sore, my thighs are threatening to quit working, and my fingernails are filthy even though I wore gloves, but there are:
1. About fifty gazillion snails dying out in the street where I tossed them
2. Almost a full trash can full of dying greens from daffodils and other assorted bulbs
3. All the foxglove dead flower stalks cut off
4. Some weeds pulled
5. Lots of fescue pulled from amongst the teucerim
6. A pretty rose monkey flower planted in the front, along with a 6 pack of shasta daisies
7. My cute little driftwood planted with succulents
8. snail bait scattered
9. More okra seeds planted, along with some parsley, and some old packets of impatiens, jacob's ladder, poppy, ageratum and lobelia -- I don't expect these old seeds to grow, simply because I scattered them haphazardly and I suck at growing flowers from seed, but what the hell? They'll either grow or not but either way, they were going in the trash anyway.
And then I went and did weights and then yoga, which felt so wonderful and took away my headache and left me feeling all relaxed.
Plus laundry and picking up and putting away and cooking dinner and now I'm going to finish an edit on a short story that's been feeling all abandoned like an ugly stepchild.
I feel all productive and everything.
