I'm at the coast this weekend, sitting in my one dollar tin can, looking out at my one MILLION dollar view.  the sky is a light hazy blue, the ocean a tapestry of turquoise and blue-violet capped by waves of white froth.  Gentle breeze is blowing, just enough to keep it perfect, not enough to be cold.  And I'm watching "You've Got Mail".  The only slightly bummer thing is no high speed internetz connection, so I'm limping along on my once-daily dose of slow dial-up, in which I reload pages multiple times before the connection finally goes through.

And who knew?  Regular birds like hummingbird nectar, too.  I put out the hummingbird feeder yesterday and all these other birds keep coming to drink.  The little sparrow-ones are piglings, they've about drank the whole jar already.  I had three here at once not long ago, one for each little perch and one sitting atop waiting her turn.  One male and two females.  Methinks he has a harem, the little bugger.  Ah, now one of the little females was sitting there and a hummingbird came by and wouldn't drink with the big bird there.  Little bastard.  I'm thinking about cutting off the perches so the big birds won't be able to drink from it anymore.  Is it good for them to drink so much sugar water?

Still ignoring Duotropes, but today two people commented on RA log with rejections to one of my markets.  My story there is one day longer than their rejections.  Stop. Getting. Excited.  Must. Maintain.  But I am NOT checking on the other one.  Nope.  No way.
