So I'm back.  Thank you for all the kind comments.  It was a little much for me to respond personally to each one, but I do so much appreciate your taking the time to commiserate.

The last week was rough, and as usual for me, my body responded to the fatigue and stress by getting sick, which only compounds things, but yet does force me to rest. 

I am very much aware of the tragedies that unfold every minute of every day, and that what happened to us is minor in comparison to some.  There are always graces to be found amidst the tatters.  So for now we go on.
