I've been informed by one of the greatest editor-guys EVAH, Mr. Ken Burns, that Issue #1 of Shock Totem is now available in e-reader format for only $1.99.  Why yes, there is a story by Yours Truly in this issue.  You can read his post on the Shock Totem website.  Or here:

Our debut issue is now available on the Kindle through Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.de. You can also download the .mobi and .epub versions from Drive-Thru Horror. If you have a Nook, Barnes & Noble is your ticket.

Other online digital retailers will follow, as well as the other issues, including our upcoming issue #4.

The digital version is available for $1.99. Visit our Shock Totem Digital page for more details.

I am a homebody.  I readily admit it.   I love my nest where I have whatever I need readily at hand (well, mostly everything, but I can run out and get whatever else), where my chair is comfy and the bed, too, and the tv on what I want to listen to.  I'm so happy to be home.  We decided to not go on into SF to the museum.  I was worn out and in dire need of some down-time, and if we'd gone, we wouldn't have been home until tonight and then tomorrow I have the grandbaby all day and the next I have both the grandbaby and the grandbigboy all day and that wears me out.  So we spent the night with my cousin and had so much fun catching up, I miss seeing her a lot.  Then we got up early and were on the road at 8 am and home before noon.  I'm upacked, the tomatoes and okra are watered and so are the potted plants on the patios and I'm catching up on emails and LJ and might run over and flash LH.

Did I tell you I've relegated Crooked Cat to the garage for the last couple months?  He brought fleas into my house and I can't have fleas crawling on my grandbaby.  So I haven't seen one for a couple weeks now, and I went out and combed the Crooked Cat and found no flea eggs in his hair, so I let him in.  Not sure where he is now.  He had grown so comfortable in the garage he wouldn't come back inside and I had to pick him up and bring him in.  He's going out at night, though. He's getting senile and M'rrowwwwing thru the house at night, and I must say I haven't missed having to clean cat puke up from the carpet.  Poor old cat.
