In Which I Is Burned and Stung

Today was one of those days.  Unfortunately, it seems to be a trend for me.  I had an appointment at 8:30 at the doctor.  In the process of trying to get myself, my purse, and my big mug of coffee out of the car, I knocked my coffee over onto my lap.  I'm soaked, there's a big puddle of coffee on the seat of my car (which is, thankfully, leather) which drips down the crack onto the carpet.  Did I mention the coffee was HOT?  And it's all over me?  I found out later when I got into the shower that I have a small burn on my thigh.

So then I spend the next hour and a half vacuuming and shampooing the carpets in the car, and cleaning all the upholstery.  (It looks much nicer!) And then when I went to turn off the water in the back yard, I decided since I was in the mood to Get Things Done, that it was time to pull out the lemon balm which has spread and grown so that the faucet handle is hidden.  I grab a handful of stems, and POW!  OW!!!! *cry* *scream*   Who knew wasps LOVE lemon balm?  And don't like it when a giant fist grabs them and the lemon balm?  So it stung me right in the tender skin between thumb and index finger.  I can attest that wasp stings HURT!  Not sting.  HURT! 

*sigh*  The only good news of the day was that the bad things happening in threes did not happen today.  But I'm scared for tomorrow.
