Doldrum busting
May. 21st, 2011 09:25 pmI've learned over the years that the best way to bust out of the doldrums is to do the opposite of what got me there in the first place. And that is almost always to get up and get things done rather than sit around and lazily mope. So I've been much busy cleaning and running errands and still taking time out to laze. There has still been no writing done, unfortunately. *sigh* Maybe soon. But in my defense, we had the grandsons last weekend and took them to the zoo. And then the grandbigboy got sick and so I had both of them Mon and Tues. So, it's been a tiring week. But tiring in a good way.
In other news, hubby bought a new truck and then turned around and broke the vacuum. So we had to return it yet again (2nd one in less than a month.) The first was definitely defective. Perhaps the second was as well. So why are we trying a third time with the same vaccuum? Third time's the charm, right?
