So yes, I am certifiably nuts. Without a doubt.
I am planning on giving Nano a try this year. Even though November is a crazy month for me and I am probably destined for failure. But I cannot pass up the opportunity to try to finish because of Scrivener. Yes, Scrivener, I tell you. It's all their fault. They started the craziness by 1) coming out soon with a Windows version, and 2) offering a 50% discount for anyone who finished Nano. Details HERE:
I've heard nothing but good about Scrivener.
November is crazy for me because I'll be missing 4 days because we'll be gone on vacation. I've finished 50k in 30 days before, so that's not a problem. It's that November is CRAZY time. It's a holiday month. My *Favorite* holiday. I cook dinner at my house. It takes me a couple of days just for that. Now I'm missing 6 writing days. That leaves 24 days to write 50k? That's 2100 words every day. That's not counting that I LOVE my house to be spic-&-span top-to-bottom clean. Windows. Window frames. Woodwork lemon oiled. Blinds vacuumed. Plus regular stuff. I was going to get a jump on the heavy duty cleaning by starting ... um, last week. Which I didn't do.
Who else is joining in the craziness? I'm signed up as musingaloud if you wanna be frenz.
