Ok, enough on the whining about being sick.  Move along, now.  Enough self-pity.  Here are some links to writing-related stuff that I found helpful and/or interesting.

Those of you who follow closely the Adventures of Pam (all 500,000 of you ... um, ok maybe all 1 of you if I'm lucky) know I recently climbed back on the 100-words-a-day bandwagon.  Author Laurie Halse Anderson has set up a August challenge of writing 15 minutes each day.  She's also providing support and writing prompts.  I started yesterday.

Jim Hines on keeping your perspective when it comes to taking a hit in the writing world (rejections, bad reviews, negative crits).  In other words, as [livejournal.com profile] kara_gnome likes to say, "pulling up the big girl pants."

Continuing on that thought, a post from bogwitch about searching for the positive within the negative, something I feel we should all strive to do, even if we sometimes fail miserably at it.

One of my favorite writers, Kate Elliott, with a humorous prose poem on the writing process:

A post from December 2009 by the editors at IGMS, with their likes and dislikes and a few thoughts about slush reading.
