Where's my camera?
Mar. 13th, 2010 02:44 pmI finally broke down and bought a new camera last week. My other was only 3 years old, but I seem to have a problem with cameras not being very long-lasting around me. Probably due to the fact that I'm horribly clumsy and drop them a lot. My old one still took great pictures outdoors, but indoors, the flash wasn't working right. It made me angry because I'd spent more than I usually do (I'm *such* a tightwad!) because I wanted a good camera that would last. And it didn't! But nevertheless, I bought a new one, and it has a really strong telephoto, which I love because I can get really nice closeups of my grandtoddler and the soon-to-be grandbaby. And the grandtoddler had a lot of fun the other day with the old camera, so it's all good.
But I wish I would have brought the new camera with me today because it is so fricking gorgeous here at the coast it would make your eyes water with envy of me. Blue skies, fluffy white clouds, emerald green hillsides with splashes of golden poppies, flowers blooming everywhere and a gentle breeze ruffling the leaves.
Geez, I love spring.
