Valentine's Day?
Feb. 14th, 2010 01:07 pmI think I'm too old.  Not thrilled about Valentine's Day itself, but we're using it as an opportunity for me to not cook.  Or I am, anyway!  So we grandtoddler-sat all day yesterday and overnight while Son #1 and D-i-L went on a day trip to Monterey.  Grandtoddler was cute as always and even slept all night in the Big Bed (which is the spare bedroom).  I woke up at 3-something AM to him talking out loud.  Have no idea what he was talking about, but he was awake.  He didn't cry, though, so I didn't go in.  I peeked through the half open door and I think his eyes may have been open, I couldn't tell without peeking in more and I didn't want to see him.  But he make no more peeps and went back to sleep.
So we're going to see The Book of Eli in an hour. And then to a nice dinner. I like Denzel Washington and I love post apocalyptic stories. I know the spoiler, which is fine by me, because I think it'll be more interesting to watch the moving knowing that. I'll let you know how I like it.
Time for me to go get ready.
