A question
Nov. 19th, 2008 09:08 pmOk, this is probably an ignorant question. But I'll ask it anyway.
What's the correct way to remind an editor that they asked you to submit something else? Maybe it's been a year or so, just because you didn't have a story suitable for their market, or you forgot/got lazy. Would you say something like, "Earlier this year, after ultimately passing on my story "The Whatever" you kindly asked me to send more stories your way/you kindly said you'd love to see more of my stories.
Or do you not nudge and just hope they remember you?
