A meme

I've been tagged.  And although I don't think there are any interesting facts about myself, and I can't think of anything quirky at the moment, although I'm sure there must be a ton of things, ... well here goes.

I love to do jigsaw puzzles.  But I have to put them away for at least a year before doing them a second time, or else I can remember where the pieces go (general vicinity anyway).  But don't ask me what I did yesterday.

Take me to a place one time and I can find it again years later.  I have a really good recall for scenery I guess.  I never thought much about it, except my husband never can recall any details like that.

One branch of my family has a published family tree.  167 pages from about 1865 to 1988. My listing is on page 40.

I've never bitten my nails.  I do pick horribly at my cuticles though.

I started walking with an acquaintance, who is now my best friend, when our sons were in 2nd grade.  They're 27 now and we still walk 2+ miles a day, 5 days a week, same time every day.  We used to live around the corner from each other and 14 year ago I moved a couple miles away, so she bought a house--guess where!--around the corner from me, so we didn't have to drive to each other's houses to walk.

I can't not finish a project I've started, and I can't start new projects without completing the previous one first.  Except for writing stories, which I have a bad habit of not completing.
