So now I went and done it.

Yep.  I just ordered a Kindle for my Christmas present.  It's not for me from me, but for me from the hubby.  He doesn't do online stuff, so I ordered it myself.  I'm not going to give up my *real* book buying, however.  But I'll probably only buy *real* books from now on that are from my favorite authors that I like to collect.  The others, new (for me) authors I'm trying out to see if I like them, I'll probably buy ebooks from now on.  Of course, I still have all those shelves of TBR *real* books to get through.  I'm hoping I'll find time to read more with the Kindle.  It turned out that way for my son.  I definitely need to stop wasting my time playing games and read instead.  But I'll probably just trade computer games for Kindle games, of which I hear there are some.  I also expect to do more short story reading on the Kindle.  I really dislike reading on the computer, and I don't know why, exactly. 

And now I must go as I have some assignments for a policy committee that I'm on or my volunteer work.
