Holy Crap! What's that falling on my roof, Batman?
Awoke to a strange sound this morning, something we haven't heard much around these here parts this winter. The tap, tap, trickle, splash of RAIN falling! The Central Valley gets its rain during the winter months, and we've had hardly any at all this year. The water tables are dropping. We depend on the snow in the mountains for irrigation for all the crops and produce grown during the summer, and it's going to be a poor year for farmers, due to the cost of that water. I hope the mountains are getting a TON of snow, and it isn't a case of too little, too late.
