Going Dark(er)

Well, as if I haven't been absent enough lately, I'll be out of town for several days in honor of our 33rd anniversary (yes, I'd love to say I was a child bride, but unfortunately, I wasn't.)  I have a meeting here at my house in the morning, but plan on kicking everyone out at 11 am so we can get on the road to Lake Tahoe.  We'll spend a few days there and then head down into the Bay area to visit my cousin and the Disney Family museum.  Apparently our hotel in Tahoe will charge for internet access -- $11 a day !!!!!  which is about half of what I pay a month -- and that gripes me enough that I usually refuse to pay/access internet on principal.  The only thing is that for some reason they're being nice and comping our room 2 nights out of the 3 and the 3rd night is *really* cheap, so I suppose I can afford the $11, and will probably fork over the $$$ for one day, anyway.  But we'll see.

I've only seen my cousin a couple of times since our grandmother died in 2002, so I'm excited about that. 

Have fun while I'm gone.  When I get back, I'll get into a more regular posting routine.  And writing.  And subbing.
